Four free live demos ยท September
Come see how Practice Builder will change the way you grow and run your practice.
Practice Builder is business software built for SLPs and OTs in private practice. Accountants have QuickBooks. Restaurants have their point of sale. Our profession has had spreadsheets, forums, and whatever we could piece together at night โ until now.
Over four live sessions in September, I'll show you it running on real problems.
What it is
Software for running a private practice
Practice Builder takes the course content you'd otherwise sit through passively and turns it into action โ tools you open when you have a decision in front of you, and close once the decision is made.
The difference between this and everything else in our field is what happens when you use it. A course explains how to raise your rates. Practice Builder works out your new rate and writes the letter to your clients.
There are more than sixty of these โ covering pricing and profit, systems, hiring, marketing, payer negotiation, and new revenue streams. Whatever decision is in front of you, there's a tool for it.
Where you'd start
A Path built around your goals
You don't have to work out where to begin. Answer a short survey about your practice, your goals, and where you are right now, and Practice Builder builds your Path โ a custom plan through the tools, based on what you're trying to achieve and your stage of the journey, not someone else's.
A clinician who hasn't taken a private client yet and a practice owner with a waitlist have different goals and are at different points in that journey. They answer the same questions and get different Paths. That's the advantage of software over a course. It doesn't have to pick one of you.
See it for yourself
Four live demos in September
Each session takes one real problem and shows you Practice Builder handling it, start to finish. No slides about best practice. You'll see the actual tool on screen.
How to Take Insurance and Still Be Profitable Using Practice Builder
See a real payer mix compared against a more profitable one, and watch it produce the letter that starts a renegotiation.
How to Make More Profit with Your Private Pay Clients Using Practice Builder
Private pay feels like the profitable choice, and it's often less profitable than it looks. See where the revenue leaks and what closing those leaks is worth.
Hiring Made Simple with Practice Builder
Watch it answer whether you're ready to hire, whether that person is an employee or a contractor, and what you can pay them.
Build a Website that Gets Clients with Practice Builder
Watch it take a practice website that isn't bringing in calls and rewrite the home and about pages, with the problems flagged as it goes.
For live attendees
Four $200 gift cards, one per session
Replays go to everyone who registers. The gift cards are for the people who come live. One $200 card is drawn at the end of each session, so every session you attend live is another chance to win.
To be eligible you have to be registered for the series and attending that session live. Watching the replay does not enter you. Come to all four and you're entered four times.
Register
Register once, come to what's useful
One sign-up gets you access to all four demos. Come to the ones that fit your practice, skip the rest โ replays go out to everyone who registers.
Marketing strategies, inside Practice Builder
Every way to grow a private practice, in one place
Practice Builder includes marketing strategies for growing a private practice โ website, referrals, content, partnerships, ads, and more โ and each one comes with a done-for-you tool and a checklist of action items.
โI already tried that. It didn't work.โ
I hear this constantly, and it's usually true. You built the website. You made the Instagram account. You introduced yourself to the pediatrician down the road. Nothing much happened, and no one could tell you why.
That's what the done-for-you tool and checklist are for. They walk through why it didn't work for you, what the strategy actually requires, and whether it's worth another attempt in your situation.
Each one is also labelled by what it costs you, in time and in money, so you can see before you start whether it's quick and free or a long game with a budget attached.
Included with the software
An hour with me every week
Office hours run Thursdays at 1pm ET on Zoom, and they're recorded for anyone who can't make it. Bring the decision you're stuck on and we'll work through it together.
Who made it
Jena Castro-Casbon, MS, CCC-SLP
I'm a speech-language pathologist, and I've spent years teaching SLPs and OTs how to start and grow private practices. Almost none of us were taught the business side. We work it out on our own, in the evenings, after the last session of the day.
I created Practice Builder out of everything clinicians have asked me over those years, so the answers live somewhere you can actually use them.
Questions
Are the demos free?
Yes. All four, at no cost, and there's nothing to buy to attend.
What if I can't make it live?
Every session is recorded, and replays go to everyone who registers. Sign up even if you already know you'll miss one.
Do I have to come to all four?
No. Register once and come to whichever are useful. Each one stands on its own.
I haven't started a practice yet. Is Practice Builder for me?
Yes. Your Path starts where you are, so you'd be working on your niche, your rates, and your first clients rather than on hiring and payer negotiation.
I already have a full practice. Is there enough here for me?
Yes, and it's where a lot of the tools are aimed. Profit, hiring, delegation, packaged programs, and payer negotiation all assume you already have clients.
Does it replace my EMR?
No, and that isn't planned. Keep the one you have. Practice Builder handles the business side beside it.
I'm an OT. Is this really for me too?
Yes. Everything applies to both disciplines, and OTs make up a large share of the practice owners I work with.
See it before you decide anything
Four sessions, four real problems, and the software solving them in front of you. Come to one or come to all of them, and make up your mind afterward.
